Tannoy has become the world’s first loudspeaker manufacturer to license EASE Address software for designing ceiling loudspeaker systems.
EASE Address is a design verification software package that enables system designers and specifiers to quickly and accurately position, model and confirm distributed ceiling speaker systems. It utilises GLL or SPK data files, which define a specific ceiling or wall-mounted loudspeaker with regard to its geometrical and acoustic properties. Unlike conventional 2D modelling software, EASE Address allows for more complex room shapes with varying ceiling heights.
The functionality of EASE Address has been developed from EASE, the room acoustic simulation software developed by ADA, and will be available for download from the Tannoy website in July.
