beyerdynamic has announced two new microphones with Revoluto technology. The new design of the MPR 210 and MPR 211 is very compact.
The microphones can be connected to a mixing console or DSP unit, and whilst the MPR 210 is a desktop unit, the MPR 211 microphone unit provides a programmable microphone button and connections for external logic control.
Microphones using the new Revoluto technology include an array of patented microphone capsules, which are arranged in an array formation. The resulting pickup characteristic allows more freedom of movement compared to gooseneck microphones.
