In a modern control room, the operator requires realtime control access to a large number of servers and computers located in a server room that is able to push content to a videowall when necessary.
At the same time, there is a rising demand for information security, instant response, a comfortable working environment and collaboration between operators. To meet this demand, system integrators have to integrate different solutions which forms a complicated solution. However, what users want is a simple solution. This is where UniStation comes in.
UniStation is AV and KVM over fibre solution, with built-in videowall feature. It simplifies control room complexity by using a single UniStation, instead of multiple independent KVM switchers, matrix switchers and videowall controllers. With less devices, management is easier.
The solution consists of fibre transmitter, fibre receiver and matrix chassis. We offer versatile input formats as options against server output server output ports eg: HDMI, DVI, DP. Transmission distance is able to reach up to 80km (with optional fibre module) for video and KVM with 0 latency. Each fibre input port with 10Gb bandwidth enables source to keep its original resolution without any compression during transmission.
With more computers in the server room and more monitors at the work station, working efficiency is compromised. However, this is solved with UniStation.
UniStation supports free mouse cursor slide among all the monitors with coloured boundary that indicates which server you are managing. It offers, quad-view options as well to monitor more servers at a time.
OSD live preview is another amazing feature. When there are dozens of servers in the system, switching to the right server is a challenge. UniStation offers mouse-based OSD menu with live preview and operators can easily switch to whichever server he wants instantly. This also solves the issue of trying to remember the server order and switching over hotkeys.
What makes UniStation unique is it built-in videowall controller. The operator is able to push any source to videowall directly without an additional videowall controller. Videowall display also supports zooming, PIP, overlay and roaming.
As of now, UniStation has been deployed in plenty of control rooms for various applications, eg. military, transportation, aviation, utilities and data centre.
