Shanghai University of International Business and Economics upgrades with AKG wireless microphone systems
The Shanghai University of International Business and Economics recently added 111 Harman AKG Perception wireless microphone systems for its on-campus lecture halls. The project was handled by integrator Gold Sound who chose the system to deliver a sustainable solution on a tight budget.

A total of 150 AKG Perception kits were acquired to handle the voice input from instructors in lecture halls. The large size of the university’s teaching spaces meant that the system had to be able to project sufficient and uniform sound to meet the requirements.

Liang Yu, sales manager of Gold Sound, said regarding the specific solution selected: “We like AKG not just because of its worldwide popularity, but also for what they offer at a reasonable price. The WMS45 system provides high speech intelligibility, which is exactly what the customer was looking for. No other company has something in this price range that allows users to speak so easily with natural and clear sound.”
