Samsung demos stretchy OLED display
Samsung has posted a video of a stretchable display that it tips for use in wearable, IOT, automation and AI applications. The 9.1-in OLED product was unveiled at Display Week 2017 in Los Angeles.

Previous flexible OLEDs that can be bent, folded and rolled could only be formed in one direction.

Samsung says this screen marks a new development in display technology because it can be flexed in two directions and if pressed will return to its original flat shape.

In fact, the display can maintain its original image quality while increasing the screen depth up to 12mm when pressed.

In the split-screen video above you can see the display, described by Samsung as “next-gen technology, in action.
