Philips PDS manager to shave head to support charity during COVID-19 pandemic
Philips Professional Display Manager and UK National Health Service volunteer Caroline Grimes is taking part in a sponsored charity headshave to raise money for essential workers and their families at children’s charity, The Rainbow Trust.

The Rainbow Trust allows families with a child who may sadly have a life-threatening illness to spend time together, with practical and emotional support where needed for as long as required.

Grimes is hoping to raise £3,000 for the charity before the head shaving, having already raised almost half of the target funds on her JustGiving page.

Grimes said: “At a time when we're all recognising the huge pressure that key workers, especially those caring for others, are under every single moment, I want to do all I can to make a difference. During lockdown, I've been volunteering, giving my time to help those in need in my local community.

“I feel that our support needs to go further, though. So, I've decided to shave off my lovely golden locks for the Philips Professional Display Solutions UK charity of the year - the Rainbow Trust.”
