Panasonic reveals huge kit deployment ahead of London 2012 Olympic Games
Panasonic has revealed it will deliver the largest supply of AV equipment in the history of its sponsorship of the Olympic Games to the London 2012 event. The giant kit list for the Olympic sites includes 45 large LED screens, 12,000 TV sets and 47 103" plasmas.

The Japanese electrical giant will also bring the first 3D Olympic Games to homes and bars, based on the 3D technical partnership with the IOC and the Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS).

The opening ceremony, held at the Olympic Park, will utilise Panasonic’s PT-DZ21K and PT-DS20K 20,0000 lumens projectors.

Forty-five large LED screens will be used in 28 venues and DLP projectors will fire onto 22 screens. Furthermore approximately 2,500 AV security camera systems will be deployed for the event.
