Outline tackles tricky acoustics in 19th-century church
The historic Wesley Hall in Singapore, a Methodist Church building first constructed in 1885, has installed an Outline sound system.

Outline understood the physical constraints of the buildings with its low ceilings and asymmetric layout and prepared a specialised sound system to match the L shape of the building.

The sound system design includes three principal loudspeaker locations, each comprising three Outline Scala-90 constant curvature array modules. The Scala-90’s dimensions means that each array measures only 0.7m vertically and so sightlines are unaffected.

Two clusters of Outline SUB-118 subwoofers provide controlled low-frequency extension for the space. The entire system is powered by one Outline GTA Quattro Dante four-channel amplifier and one GTA Otto Dante eight-channel amplifier.
