Alto Technologies, a UK-based specialist collaboration and connectivity distributor has signed an agreement to become an Occulights partner for the UK.
Occulights offers a system to help building users visualise live room occupancy, whilst assisting facilities teams to build a more precise picture of room usage. Occulights comprises a Hub with sensors combined with a light that can show if a meeting space is occupied or available. With no need to integrate with a booking system, Occulights provides an accessible way to upgrade non-bookable spaces. Upcoming product releases will integrate with Microsoft to deliver automated booking where bookable rooms are occupied without reservation, and mitigation of “ghost meetings”, where unused, booked rooms can be released for other users.
John Vickerage, MD of Alto Technologies said, “We became aware of Occulights thanks to our partnership with Sky Group Communications in France. We immediately saw the substantial benefit that such a simple and cost-effective solution can deliver to organisations interested in offering improved in-office experiences and enhancing meeting productivity, whilst simultaneously trying to gain greater understanding of space utilisation. We regard Occulights as an important addition to occupancy and utilisation solutions available in the UK."
