Microsoft Teams announces 20,000 attendee event support
Microsoft Teams has confirmed that it has expanded its default limit for Microsoft 365 live events for up to 20,000 attendees.

The expansion to the temporary default limits will be in place until 1 October 2020, with live events held over Teams, Stream, and Yammer continuing to support events for up to 20,000 attendees at a length of 16 hours per broadcast with 50 events taking place simultaneously.

Users also have the ability to host live events in Stream for up to 100,000 attendees if planned through the Microsoft live events assistance program.
