Magenta Research and TV One will be more closely aligned as owner Nortek announces a new Commercial Technology Group. Nortek also plans additional acquisitions to further expand the Group’s product portfolio.
The announcement follows Nortek’s acquisition of TV One and the company claims the combined resources will bolster solutions provided for pro AV and broadcast industries.
Keith Mortensen, commercial technology group chairman at Magenta Research, said: “The ability for TV One and Magenta technology to be cross-integrated into broadcast and commercial AV projects offers integrators and consultants exciting new alternatives to approaching projects, while streamlining the overall process.”
Mortensen added, “Given the multiple ways TV One and Magenta products complement each other, the two companies were a natural fit to be the first two companies positioned under the Commercial Technology Group umbrella.”
