Lightware has announced that it is continuing investment in its professional development initiatives, including its Lightware Academy e-learning platform.
Launched in Q4 of 2023, the Lightware Academy has attracted more than 9,000 users worldwide since launch, where users have collectively completed more than 18,000 courses.
This content is supplemented by instructor-led webinars, with live access to technical specialists. The company has hosted 11 webinars, including ‘USB Masterclasses’ and Taurus UCX product sessions, which attracted more than 3,100 registrations.
Lightware is also investing in physical spaces for training, opening its dedicated training centre in Düsseldorf, Germany, in June 2024. Since launch, this centre has hosted 37 sessions, 22 official Lightware training events and 15 custom partner sessions for over 320 attendees.
Lightware also has experience centres across eight regional hubs, offering technical workshops and one-on-one consultations.
Gergely Vida, CEO, Lightware, commented: “At Lightware, we believe in sharing knowledge, not gatekeeping it. Education is central to our mission.”
“By investing in both digital platforms and in-person training, we are helping AV professionals around the world gain the skills and confidence to design and deploy future-ready systems. We are committed to playing an active, positive role in the AV industry, and by continuing to invest in and offer different education initiatives, we’re not only helping to level-up overall competencies, but also ensuring a bright future of innovation.”
