InAVation Awards technology categories close tomorrow on October 20, 2017. Entries will be accepted until 23.59 (PST) and you can enter free of charge.
When the entries are in, InAVation Awards judges will have two weeks to draw up shortlists for each category, which will then be put to a public vote.
Judging panels will comprise AV installers, consultants and end users. All judges are briefed to consider what impact the USPs of the product in question will have on installation, operation and maintenance of a technology deployment. Entries that successfully convey how a product can make installation easier and experiences better will stand a strong chance of being selected. Entries that consist of generic spec sheets and press releases will be marked down.
All shortlists will open to a public vote on November 6, 2017. Votes will be verified and weighted according to the job function of the voter. Manufacturers rack up one point, while those from distributors get four. An integrator, rental company or consultant vote will get you eight points, while end user votes will add ten points to a product’s total.
The winners will then be revealed at an evening ceremony and dinner during ISE 2018 when the global AV industry will gather to celebrate the achievements of their peers and colleagues.
