Kramer’s Smith rallies for cancer charity
Andrew Smith, of Kramer UK, is taking part in the Ramshackle Rally to raise money for the Intensive Care Unit at Leicester General Hospital.

Many of our UK readers know Andrew, a larger than life character in our AV community. What you may not know is that his father sadly passed away in January this year after suffering from a long illness.
In order to raise money and awareness for the hospital that provided such good care in his father's final days, Andrew and his team are undertaking the Ramshackle Rally to Krakow in Poland.
The Rally starts in the UK, taking in France, Austria, The Czech Republic and finally Poland over five days. The twist being that it must be completed in a car valued at no more than £150. In Andrew’s case, it’s a 17 year old 1 litre Nissan Micra that cost just £136.15 off eBay!
He and his team depart on Friday 5th of August, and should arrive in Poland on the 9th. He is of course seeking sponsorship, so anyone who wants to put their hand in their pocket for this worthy cause should head over to his Just Giving page, linked below. There’s also some more information about the Rally itself.
Good luck Andrew. In that thing it looks like you’ll need it…
