ISE 2020 announces new thought leadership speakers and events
Integrated Systems Europe 2020 will feature more than 200 experts from a variety of disciplines and subject areas across the show’s five days of keynotes, conferences, masterclasses, workshops and presentation in addition to more shows new for the final Amsterdam-based ISE show.

The programme presented under the umbrella title of ‘Learn. Discover. Be Inspired’ has been produced by Integrated Systems Events working in co-operation with associations such as AVIXA and CEDIA as well as other independent organisations. 
 
The programme includes an opening address which includes live language translation via a partnership with Kudo, providing attendees with the ability to select one of six preferred languages during the opening address, which will be provided by former Disney executive Duncan Wardle. 

A pop-up window will also be available for the deaf and hard of hearing to follow the address in sign language. 

13 conferences will also take place across the event in the Hotel Okura and RAI Amsterdam, with a four day training programme being provided by CEDIA, AVIXA Flash Tracks and CEDIA Talks as well as a programme of free thought leadership sessions on the main stage in hall 14. 

In addition to former Disney executive Duncan Wardle, Àngels Chacón, minister of enterprise and knowledge, Catalan government, will address the AVIXA women’s council on 12 February 2020 on the main stage, taking part in the ‘Hola Barcelona!’ event in the forum on 14 Febuary 2020. 

Jeff Day, president of north of 10 advisors and chairman of the AVIXA board of directors will speak on 11 February 2020 at an AVIXA FlashTrack session, titled ‘AV wellness trends – must know applications and their impacts create real world opportunity for integrators and end users’, chairing an AVIXA panel discussion on 12 February 2020 called ‘the experience revolution – how content and experience change everything in a brand activated world!’ on the main stage. 

Rossano Giachino, control centre manager, CERN, will speak at the inaugural control rooms summit ISE on 11 February. Giachino was in charge of control centre operations for the Large Hadron Collider during its operation. 

The XR Summit ISE on 11 February will also feature Hilary McVicker, VP of business development, The Elumenati, who will provide the keynote entitled ‘Immersive XR and pushing creative boundaries.’ 

Two new shows have also been added to the ISE 2020 content programme, with VR at ISE taking place in hall 14 containing two interactive virtual reality exhibits. 
Two digital projection Multiview VR systems will also be shown, each of which allows up to three people to view and interact with a stereoscopic 3D virtual model, with each person seeing the object from their own viewpoint. 
An immersive VR theme park ride by Lightspeed Design will also be featured, featuring an interactive ride through aquatic environments.  

The InAVation Awards will also return to Amsterdam, recognising the gold standard contributions to the AV industry at the Beurs van Berlage.
