InfoComm International has announced that is has signed an agreement with e-sharp Consultancy of the United Arab Emirates to offer educational courses in the Middle East.
e-sharp is a specialist training consultancy dedicated to bringing information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and AV training to clients in the Middle East, Africa, and the Indian Subcontinent. It is an approved training facility for the Fibre Optic Association CFOT certification, BICSI certifications, and Fluke Networks Certified Cabling Test Technician (CCTT) programme.
The first joint session will be a one-day InfoComm AV Installation Skills Day training workshop held in Dubai on 10 December, 2016. The programme is targeted both newcomers to the industry and field technicians looking to broaden their knowledge, and individuals who are preparing for CTS certification.
“The convergence of technologies—audio, video, voice, data, telecom, and the internet—is creating an urgent demand for specialised education like AV and cabling installation,” commented Kandasamy Ganesan, managing director at e-sharp Consultancy. “As market verticals like construction, hospitality, healthcare, and education continue their growth, the need for training will rise as well.”
Jonathan Seller, InfoComm’s senior director of development for the Asia-Pacific region, added: “More and more companies are recognizing the value of hiring certified and trained talent and this inspired us to create a better structure for offering regular trainings. Over the past year, InfoComm has collaborated with e-sharp in hosting several successful training sessions, from our CTS Prep course to Networked Audiovisual Systems. We look forward to furthering this partnership and growing our support for the region.”
