European video communications distributor Imago Group PLC held its first Business Breakthrough event in London last week. The aim of the day-long event was to highlight the latest developments in video communications and UC markets.
The event, held in association with Wainhouse Research, saw more than 500 visitors walk through the doors of The Brewery in London.
It featured a day-long seminar programme and a neighbouring exhibition with more than 40 vendors from across the AV spectrum including integrators (AVI-SPL), manufacturers (Polycom, Barco) and other distributors (Steljes).
Wayne Mason, head of group marketing and products at Imago Group PLC confirmed to InAVate at The Brewery that company intends to host this event yearly from now on.
Highlights from the seminar programme included a presentation from Paul Feldman, the CTO of media company Thomson Reuters entitled ‘identifying opportunities in technology to generate revenue and drive growth’, and a talk from Jim Kruger, the CMO from Polycom on ‘the future of video collaboration’.
