The UK’s AV industry will be a poorer place this week with the announcement of the retirement of InfoComm’s European regional director Geoff Turner.
Geoff started out in a two-day-a-week part time role, which he quickly turned into a full-time job promoting quality industry training and services within the UK.
“Geoff Turner’s dedication to the AV industry and InfoComm has been most evident in his day to day activities over the last eight years,†said InfoComm Sr. VP, International Development, Terry Friesenborg, CTS. “It has been my pleasure to be copied on many of Geoff’s emails to members and it is obvious that Geoff truly cares about each of the members in his region. His concern and his professionalism are always at the forefront when Geoff deals with the many questions member have regarding the association and its services. Geoff has been an active advocate for the membership in the UK and Europe and has worked tirelessly to be certain their voices are heard and their issues are addressed.â€
