Extron ships NetPA 204 PoE amplifier with DSP and Dante
Extron has announced the availability of the NetPA 204 PoE, a Dante-enabled four-channel audio power amplifier delivering up to 20 watts per channel.

Powered entirely over Ethernet, the device is designed for discreet installation above ceiling tiles and close to loudspeakers.

The amplifier receives both audio and power via a single cable and automatically recognises connected PoE, PoE+, or PoE++ to deliver the appropriate output. With integrated DSP, it provides essential audio signal processing for multi-zone and decentralised system designs.

Compatibility with Dante Domain Manager and AES67 ensures interoperability with enterprise configurations and third-party networked audio devices. The fanless, plenum-rated enclosure supports silent operation and long-term reliability.

“The NetPA 204 PoE simplifies design and integration by requiring only a single cable for power and network audio,” said Casey Hall, chief marketing officer at Extron. “The integrated DSP makes it an ideal solution for multi-zone and user-reconfigurable spaces that utilise decentralised control and audio over IP.”
