Dutch University creates world’s largest touch screen
The University of Groningen, in the Netherlands, has converted one of its 3D theatres into what it claims is the world’s largest touchscreen. The 10m x 2.5m wall is used for teaching mathematics and computer science students interactivity. It features a resolution of 4900 x 1700 and can accept over 100 touch inputs thanks to 6 tracking cameras and over 1000 IR LEDs.
