DSO announces Royal Opera House members only event
The Digital Signage Organisation announced a new members only event at The Royal Opera House, London, UK on 4 December 2019, offering members an exclusive demonstration of digital signage technology both inside and outside the venue.

The technology demonstrations will be followed by a Q&A session with the venue’s in-house IT team with a drinks reception on the opera house’s balcony to close the night.

Simon Jackson, president of the DSO said: “The Royal Opera House, with an operatic history dating over 260 years, has invested £1 billion in its ‘Open Up’ refurb project, including an extensive Digital Signage and Corporate Communications network used to create stronger awareness of events to a wider public as well as wayfinding and public information. Outside, piazza visitors are greeted by a giant curved LED video wall and, once in the building, digital projection and interactive displays act as mediums to inform and excite opera and ballet-goers about upcoming performances.”

The itinerary for the event is as follows:

4.00pm – Tour of venue with a member of the Royal Opera House IT team
4.45pm – Short Q&A with IT team and DSO Board Members
5.00pm – Drinks and networking on the Piazza Balcony
