Sennheiser UK and Powersoft will go separate ways, terminating their distribution partnership as of April 1, 2009. CUK Audio has been appointed as the new distributor.
Carlo Lastrucci, Powersoft's president said: "We acknowledge the efforts put in by Sennheiser UK to promote our brand and technology in the United Kingdom, however, given the current difficult economic situation, we have agreed that a change of approach to the market would be beneficial to both parties."
Sennheiser UK's general manager, Phil Massey added: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank Powersoft for their assistance over the period of our association. However, we will not be strangers to Powersoft technology in the future, as it is integrated into other products that we distribute, namely Klein + Hummel and K-array power amplification."
The new UK partner for Powersoft will be CUK Audio. managing director Stuart Thomson said: "With our focus on being a complete solution provider we were still looking for one core element. We needed a premium amplifier brand with a proven track record. With Powersoft we have that, and more."
