Biamp has announced plans to strengthen and expand its charitable leadership committee, allowing the company to broaden its support of global organisations that aim to encourage the discovery of AV technology and engineering.
The committee will be responsible for managing Biamp’s new schemes, including a grant program, volunteer programme and employee matching.
Biamp’s charitable leadership committee will oversee the new grant program, with organisations in underserved communities and the AV industry able to apply for a grant from Biamp’s program, receiving between $500 to $10,000 based on qualifications.
The committee also aims to promote volunteer opportunities for its internal employees and streamline the employee matching process.
Biamp has supported several causes in the past, including Rock ‘n’ Rock Camp for Girls, the Biamp PDX Festival, Young Audiences and more.
Rashid Skaf, Biamp president said: " Our mission is to connect people through extraordinary experiences, not only in the AV industry but in the community as well.
“By strengthening our charitable leadership committee, which oversees our new grant and employee matching programs, we are pursuing a mission to ignite even more positive change. I'm incredibly proud of the initiative and generosity of our team members.”
