AVIXA Diversity Council UK to provide storytelling focus
AVIXA’s Diversity Council will host Diversity and Inclusivity in the Audio-Visual Industry: Stories from the AV community, a storytelling session focusing on the topics of diversity and inclusion within the AV industry.

The free to attend event, held at the Royal College of Physicians is the third AVIXA Diversity Council event to be held in London, UK. 

Keven McLoughlin, AVIXA Council member said: “The latest instalment of the AVIXA Diversity Council will see the community share positive and inspirational experiences from under-represented groups and provide a platform to highlight initiatives underway to change the demographic of the AV industry. There will also be plenty of networking opportunities where attendees can make connections and work together to help to create a diverse and inclusive future workforce in this great industry.”

The event will include a session from Katy Jon Went, UK coordinator, Human Library, with additional sessions featuring input from Jennie Stephens, facilitator, Shure London Experience, as well as Sadie Groom, founder of Rise, Mina Patel, executive director, video conferencing for global learning and Graeme Massey, managing director, JacobsMassey. 

The AVIXA Diversity Council event will take place on the 9 October 2019 from 17:00-21:30 at the Royal College of Physicians, London.
