Powersoft has appointed Acoustic Arts as its distributor for North India. Acoustic Arts was founded in 1999 and is involved in the sales and distribution of AV products from Biamp, Audix, AMX, TW Audio, Community, Beyerdynamic, Christie, Emotiva, SVS and Velodyne.
The move comes on the heels of another
distribution deal struck with Namdhari Impex by Powersoft for the East India region.
Sidharth Chhibber, director of Acoustic Arts, said: “We have known Powersoft for many years and have always had great respect for the brand. We were earlier involved in the distribution of a competing amplifier brand that got acquired by another company. So, we figured it was time for us to move on and incidentally, Powersoft was also restructuring their business in India at around the same time. The decision was unquestionably the next logical step and we have high hopes for a hugely successful partnership.â€
