EVI Audio's annual Hausmesse has taken place in Straubing Germany featuring a number of new product launches, and the traditional entertainment. It was the first event under the ownership of Bosch.
Straubing, January 2008 From the 10th to the 13th January 2008, the international pro audio scene assembled for the 21st time in Straubing, in Lower Bavaria, for the EVI Audio Hausmesse, where the team led by Sales Manager Robert Hesse and Works Manager Konrad Proyer was pleased to welcome around 700 industry and media partners from 48 different countries. The program of this year's Hausmesse included not only breakouts of new products but also comprehensive demonstrations and workshops as well as a tour of the new production hall and new test and demo hall.
At the international press reception on the 11th January in the Theater am Hagen, Martin Traut (DYNACORD) and Christian Glück (Electro-Voice) followed up Vice President of the Business Unit Communication Systems Robert Mulatz's words of welcome to the assembled media partners with a presentation of the year's new products. Among the highlights were the compact system DYNACORD D-LITE 1000, the powered loudspeakers
D 12A (2-way) and D 12-3A (3-way) and the digital sound system processor DSP 260, all from DYNACORD, the ZX3 2-way loudspeaker from Electro-Voice and EV's digital loudspeaker controller DC-One.
Extending over 6,000 square meters and representing an investment of around eight million euros, the much-admired new production, test and demo complex was another of the stars of the Hausmesse. From the various guided tours of the works, distributors and representatives of the media could build up a detailed image of the recently opened facilities, which were constructed in line with the latest production methods.
