Looking Glass has unveiled its personal ‘holographic’ display, the Portrait, allowing users to view, create and experience 3D ‘holographic’ images, video and applications via a desktop.

The Portrait system includes a number of standalone demos, including volumetric video from Microsoft Mixed Reality Capture Studios which allows users to upload, edit and showcase 3D ‘holographic’ images on a loop.

Support for Azure Kinect, Intel RealSense and iPhone cameras with portrait mode capabilities also allow users to capture ‘holographic’ video and share videos with other Portrait users.

Some integration and development software is also supported, including integrations for Unreal engine, Unity and Blender.
