Systems integrator Diversified has been named one of 205 organisations to receive a Queen’s Award for Enterprise. Other recipients include Martin Audio and specialist recruitment firm Interfacio.
“It is a huge honour to be awarded a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade by Her Majesty The Queen,” says Daryl Clarke (pictured above), senior vice president of Diversified’s EMEA operations. “Seemingly out of reach just a few years ago, this award is a true testament to the dedication of our team and partners around the globe.”
With overseas sales growing year on year by 195% over the last three years, Diversified continues expanding its growing global presence, operating worldwide in more than 50 countries. Its top five markets are the USA, Ireland, Spain, Germany and Israel with a considerable increase in sales across India, Israel and the USA.
Kevin Collins, president of Diversified added, “As the primary hub for all activity in the EMEA region, our London team epitomises our DNA of not necessarily being the biggest, but the best.”
Audio and entertainment technology recruitment business, Interfacio, has also been honoured with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade, recognising a period of significant and sustained growth in the company’s international business.
Commenting on the award, founder and MD Richard Wear said: "We are extremely honoured to be receiving this award and would like to acknowledge the hard work and commitment shown by our whole team in delivering consistent results for our clients and candidates around the world in what continues to be a fast-changing and often challenging market."
Specifically, the Award for International Trade recognises a period of continuous growth for the company in its non-UK business between 2014 and 2020. During this time, delivery of its recruitment and executive search services across live events, corporate AV, consumer audio and fixed installation markets grew considerably in all of the company’s key international markets, including North America, Europe and APAC. These markets continue to represent over 80% of the company's business.
“Recruiting in international markets requires experience, expertise, and high sensitivity to differences in communication and business cultures," notes Richard. "Recent search project successes for clients in Norway, Denmark, Austria, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Russia, China, Canada and the US illustrate the depth and strength of the capability we now have internationally.”
Martin Audio has been honoured with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation for its Wavefront Precision optimised line arrays.
