New York university opts for Hitachi

The Columbia University School of Social Work in New York City has fitted three of its classrooms with Hitachi 3LCD projectors. Four CP-X809 were supplied with one classroom utilising two projectors.

Monolith Systems installed the Hitachi projectors.

Josephine Tatel, AV Manager for the Columbia University School of Social Work, said: "The classrooms are large and have high ceilings so the light weight and high brightness of the CP-X809 were a good fit. They met ease of installation and maintenance features we were seeking.”

Lamp life was also a major point of consideration. Tatel added. "We had to replace the lamps in our previous projectors every year. We didn't want to have that problem again."
