A Dutch first division football team boosted sound quality and versatility at its 17,000-seat DSB Stadium, utilising an Electro-Voice sound system, installed by Pieee Solutions. AZ Alkmaar football team now has 16 clusters of 3, and 4 clusters of 2, Electro-Voice FRX+660PI weatherised speaker systems.
The clusters form pairs, but can be controlled individually, so particular messages can be targeted at certain stands.
Pieee Solutions also installed seven Electro-Voice N-8000 loudspeaker controllers. Electro-Voice TG-7 amplifiers with integrated RCM-26 modules permit the formation (via Cobranet) of a convenient fibre-optic ring network.
In the press room and the various lounges sound reinforcement is supplied by EV FRX+, 70 EV EVID 6.2 and 20 EV ZX-1, speaker systems.
