CT launches new Audi in style

When Audi unveiled the A7 Sportback to the world it turned to Creative Technology Germany to handle its AV requirements. The premiere took place in the art museum ‘Pinakothek der Moderne’ in Munich and attracted more than 400 journalists.

The technology was visualised on an 80m² sized LED screen, which was integrated into the rotunda of the Pinakothek der Moderne. Three hundred and sixty eight LED modules of Barco NX-4 were implemented into a customised structure, developed by CT, with a radius of 10 meters and covering 210 degrees of a circle. The 4mm LED screen played HD content with four Pronto HD servers from DVS.

For the broadcast technology the CT team used a Kahuna HD broadcast mixer and eight professional HD cameras, provided signals for the HD satellite uplink and for the live streaming for the Audi web TV and realised the recordings of the event.

The professional audio equipment from Meyer Sound was chosen for the event, together with two DiGiCo SD8 live audio mixing consoles with Stealth Digital Processing.

CT realised, together with its partner Showtec, the complete lighting, the rigging and kinetics in co-operation with Showtec and Schiffini.
