Huntingdon District Council has turned to Apple Sound and POLARaudio to provide AV for its new council chambers. Apple Sound installed a beyerdynamic MCW-D 200 Digital Wireless Microphone System in the offices.
Apple Sound was commissioned to install a beyerdynamic MCW-D 200 digital wireless microphone system in the Huntingdon council offices after being awarded the tender and undertaking the first stage of the AV installation.
The brief was to provide the council with a secure wireless radio microphone system for use in its council chambers. Its flexible meeting space is used for a range of different applications, including full council and public meetings, committee meetings and internal training. It can be used as one large meeting room or divided into smaller meeting spaces and therefore requires an abatable, easy to use and configurable microphone system. Apple Sound were to provide the council with a secure wireless conference microphone system that would enable full utilisation of the flexible room formats with the facility for voting and recording. It was to be be controlled and managed via MCWD Controller and Steno-S recording software.
In total POLARaudio supplied Apple Sound with two MCW-D 200 control units, two MCW-D 2073 voting chairman’s units, sixty-one MCW-D 2071 voting delegate units, all charging cases and antenna units, Steno-S Pro recording software, Biamp Nexia DSP processing and an Australian Monitor XA-1400 power amplifier.
Other equipment installed by Apple Sound includes three Ben-Q projectors, Draper tab tension screens, Bose MA12EX speakers, a full AMX control system and a Listen Technologies assisted listening system.
