Amazing Interactives has joined forces with RM to install a 3D system in Oakington Manor Primary school in Wembley North London. Amazing Interactives has installed 3D systems in more than 150 secondary schools in the UK. However, this is the first time it has installed a system of this type and complexity in a mainstream primary school.
The requirement from Oakington Manor Primary was to have a flexible ICT space allowing for monoscopic and stereoscopic playback on a large screen display. Amazing Interactives chose Harkness Screens for the screen supply and installed a Spectral 240 3mx2.25m Smartview Screen. The 3D projection was generated by two Sanyo PLC30 SXGA+ projectors and used Amazing Interactives’ high transmission linear polarising filter system. The room included 5.1 surround sound, voice mixing over IP, Blu-ray input, visualiser input and a switching system to allow multiple inputs from various points around the room.
An AMX Modero wireless touch screen was set-up to control desk motors, switching, sound and lighting. 3D software was supplied by Amazing Interactives.
