Chaplin series starts with Airscreen at Brandenburg Gate

The Chaplin Film series in Berlin kicked off with a viewing of the film “The Great Dictator” at the Brandenburg Gate. The film was viewed by an audience of around 1,000 on an inflatable Airscreen.

The event happened 80 years after Chaplin’s first visit to Berlin and was one of 80 Chaplin films that were shown in Berlin as part of the series.

Chaplin’s Daughter, the Dr. Zhivago actress Geraldine, was in attendance as the event’s special guest.

Organisers said they would use Airscreen again for future events.
