UVS, formerly, eyevis UK has launched its legacy IP encoder supporting decoder and software suite
The ExDec Decoder and Software Suite helps users who are operating ‘old-style’ IP encoders to turn video signal from analogue CCTV cameras into a digital signal.
The ExDec performs IP decoding via a multi-output small form factor PC, with the outputs integrated within a UVS videowall controller using cropping algorithms.
Each individual decoded IP stream can be selected and displayed anywhere on the videowall alongside RTSP stream or other source types.
64 data streams can be decoded simultaneously, being scalable to suit the number of streams required.
UVS, formerly eyevis UK, is based at Business First Burnley Business Centre and provides video wall displays and audio visual solutions to a range of clients across the UK.
It has also opened a new London demonstration venue at Woburn Place, a short walk from Euston Station, to cope with increased demand for its technology.
Eyevis UK changed its name to Ultimate Visual Solutions (UVS) last September following the acquisition of eyevis GmbH by the Leyard group.
The rebranding has allowed the company to offer an expanded range of products and services and remain at the forefront of providing turnkey solutions for all types of audio visual and visual display applications.
