SP Controls unveils Doceri Collaborative Solution
SP Controls has introduced the Doceri Collaborative Solution for presentation, sharing and control of content in meeting rooms.
Suited to education and corporate environments, the Doceri application allows users to share and edit content via multiple iPads whilst controlling monitors and other AV equipment in a space.
Central to the system is the Doceri interactive whiteboard and screencast recorder for iPad, which provides users with the tools for creating hand-drawn graphics and remote desktop control.
Distribution and real-time annotation of content are available to and by users of iPads or computers; content is shown both on the individual devices and a centralised monitor or projection system. The Doceri Collaborative Solution also gives users the ability to remotely manage AV equipment in the room from a device. HDMI sources, media devices, audio volume and projector/monitor controls are all available on the iPad via Doceri.
SmartBox II facilitates connections in the room, including the SP Controls Networked Room Controller (NRC), AmpLinc Hub audio distribution hub, HDMI switcher and device control. The SmartBox II can be pre-configured for individual room requirements and shipped as a complete system, with pole, wall and ceiling mounts are available.
Remote monitoring and management of the room is delivered via the NRC – allowing users to lock out unauthorized users and alert system administrators of problems with the system.
The Doceri Collaborative Solution is also available with SP Controls’ PixiePro wall panel, a modular, IR-learning AV control panel; HDMI wall plate for connection of two sources, amplifier pucks for driving 8 ohm loudspeakers via category cabling, and Doceri Collaborative Display, a wirelessly-connected display for use in conference rooms, huddle spaces and classrooms.
