Optoma unveils LED portable projector
Optoma has unveiled the ML1000, an LED powered portable projector capable of 1000 ANSI lumens and weighing 1.4kg.
The unit has HDMI connectivity, WXGA resolution, touch pad interface and six Watt stereo speakers. Its casing is slim for transport in a laptop case or carry bag provided.
It takes a few seconds from applying power to reach full brightness and stops instantly with no cool down required.
Presentations can be delivered from a phone or tablet using the free iOS/ Android App “Wi-Fi-Doc”. Alternatively, content can be displayed wirelessly from a PC, Mac or mobile device using the included mini Wi-Fi dongle, which connects to the USB port.
The ML1000 incorporates a media player and native office viewer. Projection without a laptop is straightforward using the SD card slot or USB connection.
It has VGA, S-Video, and Composite connections and audio is provided using SRS WOW HD stereo enhancement technology. The LED light source delivers a lifespan of up to 20,000 hours and the unit, that boasts an auto keystone feature, is suitable for digital signage applications.
