Matrox to show videowalls at InfoComm MEA 2015

AUTHOR: Inavate

At InfoComm MEA 2015 (Dubai, Oct 19–22) Matrox will present an interactive demonstration using its Mura IPX Series 4K capture and IP encode/decode boards.

The system will capture IP sources and a Mura MPX videowall processor card to power a 2x2 videowall.  Sources include Matrox Maevex H.264 encoders and decoders as well as IP camera streams.

Mura IPX will also encode the outputs in the same controller system, then, in a separate appliance, decode them for display on a single Matrox C680-powered 4K monitor, illustrating the ability to stream and monitor (or record) an entire videowall anywhere on the network.

In addition, Mura IPX will simultaneously encode a Full HD stream to a remote Maevex decoder to highlight a 1920x1080p video wall region of interest.

Also in the Matrox booth, a small control room setup on a Winsted desk will be featured as will Matrox Avio fibre optic KVM extenders, Matrox PowerDesk multi-display software for C-Series, Matrox PowerStream remote control and management software for Maevex, and Matrox MuraControl videowall management software for Mura IPX and Mura MPX.
