Extron Electronics has announced the introduction of the FOX 4G Matrix 320x. This modular fibre optic matrix switcher provides complete, end-to-end digital A/V signal transmission and routing over fibre optic cable in very large environments such as university and corporate campuses.
It is expandablefrom arrays of 16x16 up to 320x320, and supports digital switching atrates up to 4.25 Gbps. With hot-swappable I/O boards, real-timesystem monitoring, and redundant, hot-swappable power supplies, theFOX 4G Matrix 320x delivers highly reliable, enterprise-wideswitching of fibre optic A/V and control signals for large scale,mission-critical environments.
