DIS, Danish Interpretation Systems, has bolstered its DCS 6000 Digital Conference System with a shotgun microphone, the DIS GM6622.

The shotgun gooseneck microphone is a wide-range miniature condenser microphone.

Small-diameter gooseneck design is designed to permit highly flexible positioning with a smooth, well-contoured appearance. An included foam windscreen is claimed to reduce wind noise and unwanted “popping” sounds.

GM 6622 unit is equipped with advanced RFI-shielding technology (Radio Frequency Interference. The microphone is also RoHS compliant and the polar pattern provides a 90° angle of acceptance.

The output connector is a 3-pin XLRM-type that fits into existing DIS conference units. It provides the option of locking the microphone to the conferencing unit, portable or flush-mounted. The GM6622 is 29.5cm long and head diameter is 10.0 mm small.
