Catchbox launches throwable mics
Catchbox has released Catchbox 2.4 and Catchbox Pro throwable wireless microphones designed to encourage audience engagement.
The different versions are designed for different sized applications and are both made out of soft foam covered in fabric for throwing from person to person.
Catchbox 2.4 automatically mutes the sound when product is in motion (patent-pending) and has licence-free use around the globe.
It integrates with existing sound systems and operates in 2.4GHz frequency band. Units come with a separate receiver that can be plugged into various sound systems including stereos, computers and professional sound equipment.
Catchbox Pro also has automatic muting and uses third party belt-pack transmitters. It is compatible with models from Shure, Sennheiser and AKG.
