Calibre introduced the first four models of its combined video and audio 4K scaler-switcher at ISE 2016.
Calibre’s range - featuring HQView620A, HQView625A, HQView630A and HQView670A models – enables greater applications to feature Calibre’s HQUltra 4K technology, and reduces the amount of equipment required for installations.
Suited to lecture theatres, corporate and house of worship environments, the units use Calibre’s video processing algorithms to provide a consistent interface between HD and 4K technology.
Calibre HQUltraFast changes inputs in an average of 0.25 seconds, making it one of the fastest scaler-switchers.
“This product includes analogue and embedded audio switching, microphone inputs with mixer, balanced line-level outputs and integral 15W+15WRMS stereo power amplifier, all within a 1U enclosure,” comments Tim Brooksbank, CEO at Calibre.
The range is due to ship in late Q1 2016.
