UK based provider of video, audio and lighting services for the live events industry TechPro has opened its first site in mainland Europe to avoid possible disruption caused by Britain’s exit from the EU.
The new 2000 sq. ft warehouse and office has opened in Ridderkerk, the Netherlands, close to the city of Rotterdam.
TechPro has had plans in place to open an office and warehouse in mainland Europe for some time, with the possible disruption caused by Brexit uncertainty accelerating the company’s plans.
The new facility aims to help mitigate potential disruptions to logistics or hikes in import/export costs.
Rob Stokers, director of TechPro, said: “Our presence in Europe is an investment in a practical solution to the as yet unknown challenges ahead and not only demonstrates our commitment to our clients, but shows we are fully prepared, whatever the final outcomes over the next few days, weeks or months.”
