Reports are emerging that Japanese financial services group Orix is to buy Panasonic's projector business for a fee in the region of 100 billion Japanese Yen. The price of the deal translates to $639 million and €585 million.
Orix were one of the interested parties named by Nikkei Asia when the deal was first reported on back in May.
Panasonic is said to be stepping away from the projector business to focus more on digital supply chain systems.
