Kinopolis and RealD renew 3D deal
German cinema chain Kinopolis, that operates 17 sites with 147 screens, has renewed its deal with RealD for the supply of 3D equipment and glasses.

Gregory Theile, managing director and shareholder, said: “It has always been our goal to create the best possible 3D experience for our consumers and we can’t think of a better partner than RealD to present 3D movies with the best possible quality in our cinemas to do so.”

Roger Harris, managing director, RealD (Europe/Middle East/Africa/Russia), said: “RealD is very happy to extend our long-time deal with Kinopolis into the future. It’s our common goal to offer the finest 3D experience to the consumer and we will continue to enhance not only our technical improvements but will also identify common marketing opportunities with Kinopolis to strengthen the German 3D market.”
