Systems integrator HB Communications has announced an expansion of its European business and the appointment of Rob Smith, formerly of Electrosonic, to the position of regional director, Europe and Middle East.
Consistent with its strategy to serve its U.S. customers’ needs across the globe, the European expansion will allow HB Communications to better serve clients throughout the region through stronger local relationships with its customers and partners.
HB Communications has recently incorporated in the U.K. and has opened an office in central London. A staff of 12 will manage European operations, leading the team will be Rob Smith, who comes to HB Communications from Electrosonic, where he served as the general manager of its service and managed service businesses in EMEA.
The global expansion also coincides with the introduction of HBview, an advanced remote monitoring and management solution for video and collaboration, AV, and digital signage that features 24-hour support.
In support of HBview and the growth of HB’s Global Managed Services, HB Communications is expanding the HBview NOC (Network Operation Center), doubling its size.
