Extron Electronics welcomes Jeff Gibson as vice president of international sales and marketing following the departure of Lee Dodson.
Dodson leaves the company to join Premier Mounts as president, officially taking up the position on September 1, 2009.
"Lee confidently led our marketing department for ten years and helped build a terrific team during an unprecedented period of growth," said Andrew Edwards, president and CEO of Extron. Describing Dodson as "a friend and colleague", Edwards said it was difficult to see him leave but added he was excited about Gibson’s appointment.
Len Dozier, CEO and founder of Premier Mounts, welcomed Dodson. "Through his roles at Extron and Sony as well as the InfoComm International Manufacturers Council and InfoComm executive committee, Lee has helped shape the Pro A/V industry," Dozier enthused. "He brings a strong passion for serving his customers in the Pro A/V channel and undoubtedly will move Premier Mounts forward with his leadership, enthusiasm and efficiency for pioneering new products in the marketplace. With his presence leading the company, I’ll be able to focus my attention on what I love the most – shaping the overall product vision and creating solutions that address customer’s most challenging mounting requirements."
