Exertis secures recertification of ISO 9001 accreditation
Exertis has announced that it has secured recertification of its ISO 9001 accreditation, the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS).

The ISO 9001 standard is the only standard in the ISO 9000 series to which organisations can certify as Richard Hinds, Exertis UK&I, chief operating officer said: “As a recognised standard worldwide, ISO 9001 gives our customers and partners confidence that we work to standards and procedures that will provide them with a high degree of quality and service.

“We attach great importance to quality and having that checked regularly by an independent organisation is evidence that customers are at the core of our business. In addition, an ISO 9001 certification is often a pre-requisite and minimum requirement for some of our vendors when they are considering suppliers or tendering for business opportunities.”

ISO 9001 is subject to satisfactory annual reviews, with certification being valid for three years, covering the goods in, customer services and accounts payable functions at Exertis.
