Crestron has promoted Rupert Denoon to the position of regional director of South Africa and made Olaf Stepputat regional sales director of Germany and Austria.
Denoon, previously regional manager in South Africa, is credited with growth for Crestron in the country. Robin van Meeuwen, president and CEO of Crestron EMEA, said: “This promotion is well deserved and I am positive that it will benefit our business in South Africa. We are committed to nurturing internal talent within the company, and Rupert’s career progression is a great success story for our business. We’re delighted that he will be overseeing the sales operation within the region.”
Stepputat took on the role of regional sales director for Germany and Austria on April 3 and joins Crestron from Barco where he led the audio product division that was established after the acquisition of Iosono. Prior to that, Stepputat was VP of sales at Technotrend.
He said: “I highly value Crestron’s solutions, market position and strong corporate spirit. With my strong background in ICT and AV, I’ll be using my sales, managerial and strategic expertise to establish relationships with new and existing partners, as well as supporting Crestron’s EMEA growth plans within the industry.”
