Crestron has been appointed an official partner of xSolutions, a London based business communications event, in a move it hopes will provide it with a platform to communicate its dedicated business solutions.
xSolutions will be held at London’s ExCeL from October 19 to 20, 2011 and aims to provide AV and IT professionals with access to AV technologies for commercial facilities, from individual products to entire building management solutions.
Petra van Meeuwen, marketing manager for Crestron, said: “What’s great about xSolutions is that it is dedicated to business solutions; there are many universities, offices and commercial premises all over the world benefiting from our technology and this show is the perfect platform to communicate this offering.”
Crestron will showcase its automated control systems for businesses and provide two manufacturer training sessions. The sessions will be designed and run by Crestron’s technical training team and will cover the Crestron DigitalMedia Certified Designer (DMC-D) and, new for xSolutions, a RoomView course.
Michael Backler, Crestron’s head of training, will lead the courses at xSolutions. “Our latest training course is dedicated to Crestron’s RoomView building management software which is proving to be an invaluable tool for our clients in the commercial and business sector,“ he said.
“Both of the courses we are offering have been developed to best equip installers to serve the needs of the industry by using the latest technical developments and by being aware of the issues and nuances of new technologies such as Crestron’s DigitalMedia range. The latest version of our RoomView software showcases what is possible in building-management and our course at xSolutions will explore and explain the savings in time, resources and energy that can be made with RoomView.
